A Strange Game

Let us not talk about Peter Hopkirk’s book The Great Game. The game I am talking is centuries old. it’s played between a Ruler and an Oppressed. It started long after Cain and Abel. This multi storey war building has several stories of different systems of one game. Different systems like, Might’s Right, War lord, Imperialist, Monarch, Socialist, Communist, Capitalist and Feudalist. Sorry, I missed one the latest one, Democracy. Did none of the above systems work?

Massive and endless killings went on and are going, whether religious or secular. Who is killing who and why? There are many reasons, but during this scientifically developed era where moon and mars are within our reaches and the most civilized humanity exists with their numerous rules and systems; shelter for oppressed does not. It’s a big question for the countries like G-8, G-20 and rest of the countries heads. Major focus and target today is the Muslim community. It’s now Muslim’s turn. Christians already had their tuff time, among themselves and against others.

Mr. Obama the head of all countries heads should favour whole worlds humanity and play a role of a BUZURG (personality whom everybody pays regard. Persian word) which has an elegant personality of beauty and kindness. But, is it possible? NO! Hunters won’t let it. Hunters know very well about different terms like small to large game, but where this game of Burma’s Rohingya is to be placed. Game is always meant for enjoyment, adventure and sometimes, becomes a necessity to go for a kill of man-eater. Kill of hungry, homeless, hopeless, helpless, most oppressed stateless people of the world! Have man-eater Rohingya become demons and scapegoats? It’s beyond understanding! This is a strange game, where nobody cares about the reason of blood shedding. This is one side of the picture strongly felt by the Muslims world over. Muslims, own leaders also are not playing sincere, loyal and pious roles.

Today it looks, as if the gift of emotions, which Divine bestowed as a quality in Adam, Eve, Cain and Abel is intentionally been taken towards not for betterment, but for destruction of mankind by mankind.

Is it Lust of Money?

Superpowers are not interested in democratic transition in Myanmar and are less eager rather not at all about country’s ideal freedom and liberty out of reverence. Multi-national corporations backed by sovereigns, seesaw arbitrarily for piece for their personal interest, in Asia’s future growth story (the Economist Intelligence Unit estimates an 85% chance for growth to rise 75-100% in the next eight years). After all, how can they bear hindrance of few thousand ill-treated Asians towards their way so potential windfall? Honourable Hillary’s core interest in meeting Mr. Thein Sein was about business and not human rights. Mr. Clinton however showed concern about Rohingya Muslims.

Song of Democracy

Mr.Thein Sein has made lot of efforts towards democratic transition in a smooth way for openness and representation in his country and international community and audiences with top America and Europe dignitaries praised him. When suddenly, it all started during May 2012 due to real or fake news about rape and murder of a young Buddhist woman; sparked off a deadly chain of violence. Muslims and Buddhists became each other’s enemy and within this new democratic paradigm it looks, as if Rohingya Muslims have no room.

More hurting and beyond understanding is the silence of Madam Aung San Suu Kyi  of Myanmar’s Nobel Peace laureate watching ethnic cleansing of human beings.

These are the symptoms of song of democracy and display of show will start when public roar of Myanmar will rise snubbing the voice of democratic song. In its traditional way West will come to aid for oppressed one’s (the bad guys) mold, depending on their oppressor (Mr.Thein, Madam Daw Aung and the rest evils) which has to shape the product exactly as West and America needs. Examples of Rwanda, Bosnia and Somalia are present where interventions allowed Western powers to build narrative of GOOD VERSUS EVIL. NATO, UNO and et al. become gun shy before naughty necessary evil oppressor. A justice delayed is a justice denied.

Brutality

Myanmar is not Muslim a country then why Rohingya Muslims are being killed. Let’s put aside massacre in rest of the countries like Syria, Egypt, Kashmir, Iraq, Palestine, Pakistan, Turkey and the rest. All countries heads have all sort of in formations regarding Myanmar, but least they are concerned.

Fresh news about continued killings is horrible. Indirectly different beneficiaries and directly Myanmar’s own government is part of it. Security of citizens is the prime responsibility of a state. Myanmar government at all is not serious about it and it looks as if some pre planned agenda is being followed. A wave of shudder is felt which make your hair stand on ends when you read or see pictures about such barbarism.

Brutality in Myanmar is gaining hype. Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch are aware of it. Certainly global community cannot sit idly. Voices will rise. Feelings of love for humanity always exist. Nothing is more powerful than love. Hearts will soften. Believers and non believers all will join to help you. Rohinya you are not alone. Sadly! Not alone.

Are You

Can .8 million Rohingya become productive citizens? If this question is answered as “yes”, then problem is solved, but prior to this there are two major questions. First, who are you? Second, where are you from?

Perhaps Rohinya cannot answer both the questions because are you (rest of the mankind) is not for them. Is this because they are Muslims and Buddhists are in majority and hate them? Not all the Buddhists of Myanmar and world. Suu Kyi calls them stateless. When the owners of Myanmar are not ready to owe them, it means they have no masters and a day will come, when they will made masters, themselves.

A wounded deer leaps highest

A wounded deer leaps highest,
I’ve heard the hunter tell;
‘Tis but the ecstasy of death,
And then the brake is still.

The smitten rock that gushes,
The trampled steel that springs:
A cheek is always redder
Just where the hectic stings!

Mirth is mail of anguish,
In which its cautious arm
Lest anybody spy the blood
And, “you’re hurt” exclaim

By Emily Dickinson

Systems and Religions

All systems are good and all religions are good, if you personally are good. It’s only the GOOD WILL, which plays a decisive and decent role.

Conclusion

Time keeps changing. Trap which is laid to catch the prey sometimes clutch the hunter himself. Slow genocide strategy for elimination a portion of mankind won’t work. Rulers become oppressed and oppressed rulers. Let us hope, a day will come when Civilization will replace Barbarism. Nothing ever lasts. Humanity will continue to exist until this strange game ends on the Day of Judgement.

Solution

Solution is one and only and that lies with Myanmar’s management. Myanmar government must use Rohingya as productive strength of their country. It can be used as un-skilled, semi-skilled and skilled labour, or to whatever extent they want.
