A Strange Game

Let us not talk about Peter Hopkirk’s book The Great Game. The game I am talking is centuries old. it’s played between a Ruler and an Oppressed. It started long after Cain and Abel. This multi storey war building has several stories of different systems of one game. Different systems like, Might’s Right, War lord, Imperialist, Monarch, Socialist, Communist, Capitalist and Feudalist. Sorry, I missed one the latest one, Democracy. Did none of the above systems work?

Massive and endless killings went on and are going, whether religious or secular. Who is killing who and why? There are many reasons, but during this scientifically developed era where moon and mars are within our reaches and the most civilized humanity exists with their numerous rules and systems; shelter for oppressed does not. It’s a big question for the countries like G-8, G-20 and rest of the countries heads. Major focus and target today is the Muslim community. It’s now Muslim’s turn. Christians already had their tuff time, among themselves and against others.

Mr. Obama the head of all countries heads should favour whole worlds humanity and play a role of a BUZURG (personality whom everybody pays regard. Persian word) which has an elegant personality of beauty and kindness. But, is it possible? NO! Hunters won’t let it. Hunters know very well about different terms like small to large game, but where this game of Burma’s Rohingya is to be placed. Game is always meant for enjoyment, adventure and sometimes, becomes a necessity to go for a kill of man-eater. Kill of hungry, homeless, hopeless, helpless, most oppressed stateless people of the world! Have man-eater Rohingya become demons and scapegoats? It’s beyond understanding! This is a strange game, where nobody cares about the reason of blood shedding. This is one side of the picture strongly felt by the Muslims world over. Muslims, own leaders also are not playing sincere, loyal and pious roles.

Today it looks, as if the gift of emotions, which Divine bestowed as a quality in Adam, Eve, Cain and Abel is intentionally been taken towards not for betterment, but for destruction of mankind by mankind.

Is it Lust of Money?

Superpowers are not interested in democratic transition in Myanmar and are less eager rather not at all about country’s ideal freedom and liberty out of reverence. Multi-national corporations backed by sovereigns, seesaw arbitrarily for piece for their personal interest, in Asia’s future growth story (the Economist Intelligence Unit estimates an 85% chance for growth to rise 75-100% in the next eight years). After all, how can they bear hindrance of few thousand ill-treated Asians towards their way so potential windfall? Honourable Hillary’s core interest in meeting Mr. Thein Sein was about business and not human rights. Mr. Clinton however showed concern about Rohingya Muslims.

Song of Democracy

Mr.Thein Sein has made lot of efforts towards democratic transition in a smooth way for openness and representation in his country and international community and audiences with top America and Europe dignitaries praised him. When suddenly, it all started during May 2012 due to real or fake news about rape and murder of a young Buddhist woman; sparked off a deadly chain of violence. Muslims and Buddhists became each other’s enemy and within this new democratic paradigm it looks, as if Rohingya Muslims have no room.

More hurting and beyond understanding is the silence of Madam Aung San Suu Kyi  of Myanmar’s Nobel Peace laureate watching ethnic cleansing of human beings.

These are the symptoms of song of democracy and display of show will start when public roar of Myanmar will rise snubbing the voice of democratic song. In its traditional way West will come to aid for oppressed one’s (the bad guys) mold, depending on their oppressor (Mr.Thein, Madam Daw Aung and the rest evils) which has to shape the product exactly as West and America needs. Examples of Rwanda, Bosnia and Somalia are present where interventions allowed Western powers to build narrative of GOOD VERSUS EVIL. NATO, UNO and et al. become gun shy before naughty necessary evil oppressor. A justice delayed is a justice denied.

Brutality

Myanmar is not Muslim a country then why Rohingya Muslims are being killed. Let’s put aside massacre in rest of the countries like Syria, Egypt, Kashmir, Iraq, Palestine, Pakistan, Turkey and the rest. All countries heads have all sort of in formations regarding Myanmar, but least they are concerned.

Fresh news about continued killings is horrible. Indirectly different beneficiaries and directly Myanmar’s own government is part of it. Security of citizens is the prime responsibility of a state. Myanmar government at all is not serious about it and it looks as if some pre planned agenda is being followed. A wave of shudder is felt which make your hair stand on ends when you read or see pictures about such barbarism.

Brutality in Myanmar is gaining hype. Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch are aware of it. Certainly global community cannot sit idly. Voices will rise. Feelings of love for humanity always exist. Nothing is more powerful than love. Hearts will soften. Believers and non believers all will join to help you. Rohinya you are not alone. Sadly! Not alone.

Are You

Can .8 million Rohingya become productive citizens? If this question is answered as “yes”, then problem is solved, but prior to this there are two major questions. First, who are you? Second, where are you from?

Perhaps Rohinya cannot answer both the questions because are you (rest of the mankind) is not for them. Is this because they are Muslims and Buddhists are in majority and hate them? Not all the Buddhists of Myanmar and world. Suu Kyi calls them stateless. When the owners of Myanmar are not ready to owe them, it means they have no masters and a day will come, when they will made masters, themselves.

A wounded deer leaps highest

A wounded deer leaps highest,
I’ve heard the hunter tell;
‘Tis but the ecstasy of death,
And then the brake is still.

The smitten rock that gushes,
The trampled steel that springs:
A cheek is always redder
Just where the hectic stings!

Mirth is mail of anguish,
In which its cautious arm
Lest anybody spy the blood
And, “you’re hurt” exclaim

By Emily Dickinson

Systems and Religions

All systems are good and all religions are good, if you personally are good. It’s only the GOOD WILL, which plays a decisive and decent role.

Conclusion

Time keeps changing. Trap which is laid to catch the prey sometimes clutch the hunter himself. Slow genocide strategy for elimination a portion of mankind won’t work. Rulers become oppressed and oppressed rulers. Let us hope, a day will come when Civilization will replace Barbarism. Nothing ever lasts. Humanity will continue to exist until this strange game ends on the Day of Judgement.

Solution

Solution is one and only and that lies with Myanmar’s management. Myanmar government must use Rohingya as productive strength of their country. It can be used as un-skilled, semi-skilled and skilled labour, or to whatever extent they want.

THE GREAT IMRAN KHAN

IMRAN KHAN

imran khan picture

A quiet and shy person was born on 25th of November 1952 in pure khan’s family, a Niazi from his father’s side and Burki from his mother.  He excelled at cricket and at Aitchison College Lahore. He went to study at Keble College, Oxford and got second-class degree in Politics and a third in Economics.

He was one of third fastest bowlers after Jeff Thomson and Michael Holding. He declared retirement after playing 1987 World Cup, but owing to public demand he was requested by the president general Zia ul Haq to lead his team once again. Thus at the age of 39 this man got the first ever victory of 1992 World Cup for Pakistan. He was one of the most successful captains.

CREDITS

1.   Pakistan’s first and only World Cup victory in 1992

2.   He played cricket for two decades.

3.   One of the best All rounder’s

4.   Khan was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame on 14 July 2010.

5.   Cricket commentator and analyst.

6.   He is a philanthropist and a political activist.

7.   Chancellor of Bradford University.

8.   Founding Chairman of Board of Governors of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research centre.

9.   Founded Namal University Mianwali.

10. In April 1996 established Tehreek e Insaf (Movement for Justice) political party.

POLITICAL CAREER

Khan is cricket-turned-politician who launched his Political Party Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) in 1996.  17 long year’s triumph is behind his political career. He is academically a politician. Time and tests have changed him to a seasoned practical politician, but not a professional. Pakistan’s almost all leading parties are professional politicians whose roots are grounded in their families except MQM, but MQM does have a question mark against it.

PTI has its own identity of new blood and passion. Khan campaigned against corruption and dynastic politics in Pakistan. He promised in raising a whole new class of “clean” politicians from the platform of his PTI party.  In 2002 PTI had a very weak status and till 2010 hardly anybody was ready to consider it, people rather laughed.

Extremely hopeless performance by PPP and so-called opposition of PML-N drifted the minds of people, to think seriously about their fates, laid since long in hands of traditional family politicians.

Lawlessness, hunger, Fake and paid terrorism, artificial energy crisis and inflation, deep-rooted corruption and Mr.Asif Ali Zardari’s presidency not only ruined the name of PPP, but helped Imran Khan’s popularity soared amid dissatisfaction with ruling administration.

By the end of 2011 a surge of popularity made public to rethink when PTI accepted support from a flock of traditional players deserting their respective parties for greener pastures ahead of the elections.

Time passed on and PTI roots kept on going deeper into the minds of tired people.

PRESENT SCENARIO

PML-N nevertheless used clever tactics like Danish Schools and Metro Bus Service. When security and hunger exists, it becomes the prime necessity and if country is under debt then the question of stability of economy arises as how will the revenue generating institutions of Pakistan will survive?

Imran Khan has become a political power and definitely he will get votes and seats in parliament, but PML-N will still be in better position to make the government.

Future will be of Imran Khan, if he keeps his identity and faith strong, remain persistent and stay away from traditional professional politicians. The way PPP lost so does PML-N, as people have got fed up from such shroud PER-CENTS?

MAY 11, 2013

Imran Khan, keep on with your walk, walk and walk, work, work and work. People will keep on coming to you, don’t you worry. You are great. God bless Pakistan.

Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto

Unique, unforgettable and a great Prime minister of Pakistan

He was genius, brave, daring, highly emotional, personally in-corrupt, politically controversial and a personality of multiple qualities. He was an excellent leader, husband and father. His honest intention was to pull Pakistan out of its grave problems but, I saw Pakistan going towards decline since the dethronement of president Mohammad Ayub Khan. This is my personal opinion and experience.

http://blogs.tribune.com.pk/story/11584/how-golden-was-ayub-khans-era/http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zulfikar_Ali_Bhutto
Bhutto had a different vision, regardless of right or wrong, his lasting achievements like Pakistan Steel Mills, Heavy Mechanical Complex Taxila, Port Qasim Authority, Quaid-e-Azam University, Allama Iqbal Open University, Karachi Nuclear Power Plant and 1973 Constitution are not to forget. He was a socialist prone person. He would always be remembered in the history of Pakistan along with many positive and negative aspects of his political era and personality.
The most sorrowful, saddening and maddening thing was hanging of this great person on a crime he didn’t commit.

Burma’s Rohingya

Disowned and Denied

“Rohingya! You are not required, because you don’t belong to any class therefore; you are free to go any where you like but, mind it! Burma is not your home, because it was never yours.”

This didn’t happen in couple of years, but this actually started since 1942 and more forcefully with the first military coup in 1962 in Burma.

Going through a reasonable straining of internet and newspapers for the search of reality, one can realize the truth about extremely painful story of Rohingya. This has happened and is happening to such a height of hate-redness against mankind by mankind that more you regret more you feel.

If it is asked how did it start? Let’s assume, that cause was dishonouring of a Buddhist woman by Rohingya some where around mid of June. 50% it could be true. But on the other hand, if 5% of the total community is not considered as citizens imposed with conditions like, 1. No land no home to live in, 2.  To get married they have to apply for a licence, 3. No access to travel freely, 4. Educations not allowed, and are rejected because they are not similar in looks, speak different language and have different religion.

It is quite obvious to expect deep rooted factor of hate and disliking at certain ends as the real cause of conflict.

They were participating in parliament and took part in other country matters since independence 1948. Military started ignoring them after their first coup in 1962 and since 1982 Citizenship Law of Burma completely stripped off their nationality, making them legally stateless.

Who is then responsible, naturally the government of Myanmar.

Burma

It was small states in 1752. In 1886 Burma became a province during British reign and remained until 1937. From 1937 to 1948 it was British colony and it gained independence in 1948. It faced two military coups 1962 and 1988. Official name is the Union of Myanmar which remained Burma until 1989. Its official language is Burmese. Total population of Burma is between 47.3 to 54.59 millions of which 4 to 6% are Muslims. (.8 in Burma, .3 in Bangladesh, .2 in Pakistan, .1 in Thailand and .024 millions in Malaysia.)

Majority is of Buddhists. Capital Yangon formerly Rangoon where the last Mughal king Bahadur Shah Zafar was kept in jail and British presented him three cut off heads of his sons during the Indian war of independence in 1857

Myanmar is Southeast Asian country not anyway lesser in natural resources then many other countries. It is rich in agriculture, minerals and major exporter of rice. Slumped down because of mismanagement and its poor strategies thus, became the poorest nation mostly dependent on oil imports to keep running its economy going.

It occupies a narrow strip of land to the west of the mountains of Arakan yoma(Range). It stretches along Bay of Bengal from River Naaf, which separates it from Bangladesh to Cape Negrais.

Arakan(Rakhine)

The name Arakan was changed to Rakhine in 1989 by military junta. It is in the southern Burma.  Arakan was ruled by those who used Indian titles and traditions. In the later periods, there was influence of Islamic courts of Bengal and Dehli.

The area of Arakan is 14,200 square miles, where the problem of Rohingya Muslim lies for Myanmar. The earliest inhabitants belong to the Negrito group. At present Rohingya and Rakhine are almost equal. Rohingyas growth rate enhanced because of polygamy and early marriages. Buddhists have low rate because of monogamy. Un-official population of Rakhine is 5 millions in side and out side. 1.5 millions of them have been expelled since 1942 but, present number in Myanmar is .8 millions.

Rohingya a myth or reality

Dr. Jacques P. Leider is an expert of Arakan history. He says that the term Rooinga was used in late 18th century by a British Francis Buchanan-Hamilton. In one of his articles during 1799. He stated “ I shall now add three dialects, spoken in the Burma Empire, but evidently derived from the language the Hindu nation. The first is that spoken by Mohammedans, who have long settled in Arakan, and who call themselves Rooinga, or natives of Arakan. Leider also adds that the etymology of the word “does not say anything about politics.” He adds that “You use this term for yourself as a political label to give yourself identity in the 20th century. Now how is this term used since the 1950s? It is clear that people who use it want to give this identity to the community that live there”

They claim to be Arab descendents who came during 8th and 9th centuries AD. But Myanmar Government admits that these Muslims came during British colonialism. Anyway they are definitely, centuries old inhabitants of Burma present-day Myanmar

There are four groups of Muslims in Burma; two groups of Burmese Muslims, third of Chinese Panthay and fourth Rohingyas.

Many historians have written about their existence in Myanmar with reliable resources, after independence in 1948 they accepted as indigenous race of Myanmar. Almost 135 minority tribes live in Myanmar. They have their own language, culture and custom. There are eight Major castes, each have dozens of sub castes. Kachin, Kayin, Kayah, Chin, Mon, Bamar 68%, Rakhine and Shan.

Rohingya are very kind, generous, helpful, dedicated servants of Myanmar and it is a reality and not a myth.

Rohingya Language

Rohingya is spoken by Rohingya people of Arakan(Rakhine/Rohang).It has some what resemblance with Chittagonian language spoken in their southeast neighbour Chittagong Division of Bangladesh

First 200 years old Rohingya texts are in Arabic, while Arakan was under British rule (1826 to 1948 ). People used mainly English and Urdu for their written communication. Since independence in 1948 Burmese is official language. During 1960 one of their scholars started to realize the need for their own written language. A persistent research and development process with the help of English alphabets took their success close and easier for modern day need of computer, internet and mobile for global communication.

This language is a mixture of Arabic, Persian, Bengali, Urdu and English. In ancient times they used Sanskrit, Bengali and Urdu. They have their writers and poets who wrote their history, but Myanmar dictators banned it.

Recently Rohingya columnist Mr. Mayu Myo Aung submitted an appeal to the president with 200 people signatures on it for the authenticity of their existence in Myanmar.

Buddhism

“One thing I teach: suffering and the end of suffering. It is just ill and the ceasing of ill that I proclaim.” The Buddha

A spiritual teacher almost 500BC.from Indian subcontinent Siddharta Gautama felt shocked and distressed at the world sufferings and decided to seek enlightenment therefore, he left his family.

Buddhist’s common belief is admiration of his figure. They are 360 millions; mostly in China, Japan and south East Asia. They focus on reincarnation, monastic life and meditation.

Buddhists who don’t like to harm even an insect and stay bare footed lest any ant gets killed, how they became so brutal and killed so many Rohingya men, women and children, burned their villages and dishonoured women?

Violation

At present, Rohingya are not officially listed as so called indigenous races of Arakan although they are half of total population of Arakan. In context of religion all Rakhines are Buddhists. Bruwas and Dainets are Buddhists too. Only Kamans and Rohingyas are Muslims.

Some international media has plunged in like UNO, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch ant etc. But, perhaps not showing how Muslims are massacred and their houses burned.

It would be the most brutal act against mankind if along with security forces Buddhist Rakhine ethnics are found involved in killings and burning.

The forced displacement of thousands of Rohingya has also not been exposed fully.

Many individual citizens of Burma experience human rights violations. Rohingya are discriminately targeted as a group. They are irregular migrants with no legal status out side Burma, because they are stateless and they have to travel illegally, and thus often become victims of baseless detention, deportation, blackmailing, trafficking, and smuggling.

People have migrated during entire history because of many reasons. It doesn’t mean that if they have their roots in Chittagong therefore, they must all be thrown out of Myanmar. Then, with non original roots people should be thrown out of Australia, America, East Bengal, West Bengal/India and the world. There is no so called “pure race” according to genetics and science any where. How ever, Africa has some what better options as for the race is concerned for all of us to search our roots. They are still pure.

A think tank’s mind might question about this ethnic problem of Myanmar in a different way. Is this a problem of historic nature, internal politics, Internationalization or of global warriors, the big ones; feudal lords of present day world?

Top international media CNN, BBC and all European news agencies are completely silent on atrocities committed against them.

The reason of their silence including Arabs and the rest of Muslim community is indeed a question mark.

Would honourable madam Aung San Suu Kyi be able to prove her self a strong figure for the solution of Rohinya problems?

It is honour of Turkish government who has taken initiative in providing aid for poor Rohingya people apart from United Nations.

Solution

Aung San Suu Kyi, is daughter of a revered martyr Aung San. She is prominent spokesperson for the National League for Democracy (NLD). A stable political system is needed that could skilfully handle aspiration of various ethnic groups although; history of Myanmar continues to haunt. A strong prosperous will relied upon personal dint of hard work shall get Myanmar out of all its problems.

.Myanmar means strong and fast. Myanmar government can not ignore her responsibility and should take strong, quick and steadfast move to take care of Rohingya who surely can play a vital role in development of Myanmar being as future asset and valuable citizens of Myanmar exactly like other citizens by replacing hate with love.

Man and the world

Image from Wikipedia

Copyrights of Wikipedia

The Administrator

Man is the only administrator of world. He has been given a free hand by God until he is called for his accountability. Goodness, greed, love and hate, are so interwoven that, hundreds of crimes and good deeds are performed daily, all over the world, only man is responsible for it and, no body else.

It is said, about 1, 24,000 numbers of Prophets came to deliver the message of God.  Saints also, and are still coming and going. Their percentage is countable on finger tips.

It is reality that, goodness is a tiny bit against huge mountain of enmity. Although, being not enough, it always weighs more and remains on top. It is natural and its source of energy is God, just like Moses (PBUH) and Jesus (PBUH) and Joan of Arc. Sacrifice of one, make thousands to think.

Privileged class

An unconscious race to have more wealth, status, education and power among countries and individuals is going on; sold by its owners and they know they have a large number of buyers because, it is a mad, mad, mad world.

It is only human ego and nothing else, which is actually bought and sold.

There is no NWO (New world order). It is the same SWO (Same world order) from day one. Imperialism, capitalism, socialism, communism and democracy all are different names of one system. The most suitable word for that system is, “feudalism”. It’s a chain of agents of sub agents under elites. There are not only rich, middle or poor classes but, dozens of classes.

Feudalism

It’s a system based on obligations between king and vassal. King owned the land. He granted land to his supporter who swore and took oath for their loyalty to king.

Fief

This granted land was known as fief which also included poor serfs or peasants, tools, barns, animals and houses.

Followings are all vassals of the king.

Nobles

Nobles, Barons and Bishops were the supporter of the king. Mostly were king’s relatives and friends.  The Nobles, Barons and Bishops fulfilled needs like; knights, money, advice, travelling and staying arrangements for the king.

Lords

The sub-tenants of The Nobles They divided the country in thousands of Knight’s fees.

Knights

The knight was given training of fighting skills in side the castle. During war he was supposed to provide his services, for 40 to 60 days annually or if, there was no war then he had go for 40 days of training every year.

Knight’s fee

knight’sfee was (a hide) a measure of a unit of land sufficient for services of a knight out which he could generate living means for himself and his fighters and also furnish horses and relevant equipment for his over lord needed in battle.

Modern measure of unit land is 30 acres equals’ one hide. It is assumed that in present time serf or peasant families usually held no more than a quarter hide.

Villeins

Villeins were given a portion from land of manor who worked for manor. They were not allowed to sell their land.

Manor

Manor is dwelling place.  A manor house is a term used to describe the country estate of a noble. It was built to comfort noble while overseeing his property estate in country. The original manor homes could take years in creating some of the grandest homes in Europe.

Serfs and Peasants

These were the lowest class of people who worked in land and they had no land.  They worked in fields, cutting wood, hauling water, spinning and weaving, repairing buildings and waiting on for the lord’s family members. Besides all this they had to pay taxes in form of wheat and animals

Feudalism at present

Until twelfth century this system was found throughout most of Western Europe. Feudalism was the name of oppression and injustice which still exists.

It has not finished but, continuing in different form and shapes globally within every department of humanity.

Distances among human beings, poverty, fear, rate of killing, power and control, space control ability, research and development, Information and technology, inflation, population, hunger all have increased but, sense of responsibility, genuine distribution of wealth, economy, security, justice and not the least but, above all human values have decreased.

Would man be ever able to make earth a heaven for mankind? Would he be ever able to develop an absolute perfect management system to help and serve mankind? If he ever could, just being a human being, with the help of his modern research and developments managed to reach the voices and hopes of sufferers.

Very few own riches, control and power. Billions find their necessities even beyond reach.

Real Treasure

All those natural things which are found in this planet Earth and in space are the real treasure including mankind.

Solution

All are trying their level best to solve the problem of humanity but, instead it’s increasing.

Perhaps the solution not only lies in the system of education but in knowledge and especially inspired knowledge of course.

How long would it take for solution? God knows.
